It seems like Diana Zubiri traveled to an alternate reality in the world of Encantadia, as she met up with her fellow “Brilyante ng Lupa” guardians Sanya Lopez and Bianca Umali.

Zubiri portrayed the role of Danaya in the 2005 fantasy drama “Encantadia” where she stood as one of the guardians of the elemental stones. She is the daughter of Mine-a, the queen of the fantasy kingdom of Lireo.

In the 2016 remake of the series, Lopez played the same character as Zubiri.

Meanwhile, Umali will star as Terra in the 2025 drama “Sang’gre,” a sequel to the 2016 version.

An excited Zubiri took to her Instagram account on Sunday, December 8, to share a photo of herself interacting with Lopez and Umali.

Zubiri’s “Encantadia” co-star Karylle (who portrayed her sister Alena), showed her support for the interaction by jokingly throwing a huff over not being included in the special moment in the comments.

Zubiri made headlines in November 2023 after she, along with the original Sang’gres Karylle, Iza Calzado, and Sunshine Dizon, made an appearance on the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”

“Sang’gre” puts the spotlight on the new generation of “Sang’gres” with Umali taking on the helm as the lead character. Set for 2025 premiere, she will be joined by Kelvin Miranda, Faith da Silva, and Angel Guardian.
