apex gaming88 Villanueva receives World Integrity Prize for anti-corruption efforts

MANILA, Philippines — Senator Joel Villanueva was conferred with the World Integrity Prize and recognized as a Person of Sincere Anti-Corruption Integrity by the South Korea-based Anti-Corruption Civil Movement General Federation (ACCMGF).

The ACCMGF personally handed the award at the Philippine Senate on Tuesday, noting that it specifically celebrates Villanueva’s “remarkable contributions to combating corruption and promoting transparency throughout his 23 years of public service.”

“As someone whose career in public service has been deeply influenced by the anti-corruption movement, receiving this World Integrity Prize is truly a great honor. This recognition strengthens my resolve to continue the fight for transparency and accountability,” the senator said.

“It is not an easy task to fight the twin evils of graft and corruption. I believe that you have to increase accountability to all public offices,” he added.

In his speech, the senator emphasized that the battle against corruption is far from over.

According to him, It has evolved into new forms, influenced by the advancement of technology and an increasingly liberal approach to societal issues.

Despite this, Villanueva said he remains hopeful because organizations like the ACCMGF remind him that a difference can still be made.

The three-year loan program “will require sound policies and reforms” to support Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its economy “and create conditions for a stronger, more inclusive, and resilient growth,” the IMF said in a statement.

Following 0.25 percentage-point cuts in March and in June, the Swiss National Bank’s (SNB) policy rate currently stands at 1.25 percent.
